About The Greater Westhampton Area

The Greater Westhampton area is actually comprised of several communities: the incorporated Villages of Quogue, Westhampton Beach and West Hampton Dunes, and the unincorporated hamlets of Quiogue, Hampton West Estates, Westhampton, Remsenburg and Speonk... all beautiful, each of them exclusive, and all offering something to the prospective visitor or someone seeking to relocate and raise a family.

Indeed, “Greater Westhampton” has become one of the largest growing year-round communities on Eastern Long Island as many of the seasonal visitors fall in love with this part of The Hamptons and decide to make their home here.

Westhampton Beach

Westhampton Beach proper is the center of activity in the Greater Westhampton Beach area, with a top-notch school system, trendy, sophisticated shops, a super-market, many outstanding restaurants, a twin first-run movie theater and the wonderful Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center for entertainment, and beautiful ocean beaches. Since its origins, Westhampton Beach has been one of the fastest growing communities on eastern Long Island, yet has still managed to maintain its laidback reputation.

Village of West Hampton Dunes

The Village of West Hampton Dunes is an oceanfront community located on the barrier beach island separating the Atlantic Ocean and Moriches Bay in the Westhampton Beach area.

Winner of the prestigious American Shore & Beach Preservation “2007 Top Restored Beach” award, West Hampton Dunes represents a blueprint for shoreline restoration and habitat enrichment. Thanks to the efforts of a dedicated corps of local, state and federal officials working hard to restore its coasts and the fragile wildlife habitat along its shores, West Hampton Dunes is one of our nationÔø‡Ôø‡Ôø‡s premier beaches.

West Hampton Dunes is a vibrant community with a growing population of families that enjoys its pristine waterfront year round. At present there are 342 homes built along its shorelines and real estate values have soared over the last 10 years.
